The high standards that our customers and we ourselves set for ourselves are what make our company successful.We are looking for you as soon as possible in our German Headquarter Neu-Ulm as:Head of Aesthetic Division / Business Unit (m/f/d)Your ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & GrowthDefine and execute a growth strategy for the aesthetic (devices portfolio), aligned with global/regional corporate goals.Identify and penetrate high-potential markets and segments and new product categories within medical aesthetics.Drive product lifecycle and portfolio strategies including new product launches, enhancements, and end-of-life transitions.Commercial ManagementLead the sales and marketing strategy to grow revenue, market share, and brand equity.Drive pricing strategies, channel development, and customer acquisition models.Establish partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinics, and distribution partners.Operational ExcellenceEnsure cross-functional coordination across regulatory, clinical affairs, quality, and supply chain.Monitor competitive activity and ensure rapid, strategic responses to market shifts.Maintain compliance with medical device regulations (FDA, CE, MDR, etc.) and company SOPs.Financial OversightFull ownership of business unit financials including revenue forecasting, budgeting, and margin optimization.Manage capital allocation, operating costs, and ROI for all initiatives.Team LeadershipBuild and lead a high-performing team including sales and product managersFoster a results-oriented and compliant culture focused on excellence, innovation, and customer value.What Sets You ApartDegree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)10+ years of progressive leadership experience in the medical device industry, with at least 5 years in aesthetic, dermatological, or energy-based device marketsDeep understanding of clinical workflows, customer needs (physicians, aestheticians, patients), and competitive landscapeDemonstrated success in launching new technologies and driving commercial scale-upStrong knowledge of regulatory pathways (FDA 510(k), CE Mark, MDR) and clinical evidence generationExperience working with physician networks, clinics, and/or distributors in the aesthetic industryHands-on mentality with a proactive, solution-oriented approach Fluent in German and EnglishKey CompetenciesStrategic market orientation and commercial acumenP&L management and financial disciplineDeep understanding of regulatory and clinical environmentsOutstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsHigh accountability, entrepreneurial mindset, and hands-on approachStrong leadership and cross-functional collaboration capabilitiesWhat We OfferA strategic leadership role within a dynamic and growing business environmentHigh-impact responsibility with direct influence on commercial and innovation success.A permanent employment contractProfessional and personal developmentAbove-average subsidized company pension schemeThe chance to become a Zimmer employee shareholder (m/f/d)Lease-a-bike and many other attractive benefit
