We're a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka, seeking a Head of Business Development and Sales for a prominent freight forwarding company based in ColomboKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement business development strategies to expand market presence. Identify new business opportunities in freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain solutions. Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term business growth. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and pricing strategies. Collaborate with internal operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Achieve and exceed sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth. Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. 4-6 years of proven experience in sales and business development within the freight forwarding or logistics industry. Strong understanding of international trade, shipping, and supply chain management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build lasting client relationships and close business deals.
