THE POSTADNOC Schools is currently seeking to recruit to the position of Head of Careers & Alumni and join our growing family of owned and operated schools in the UAE. The current vacancy is a senior role, based in ADNOC Schools and will support and work with all four of our campuses. ADNOC Schools are Massachusetts State Curriculum schools and provide high-quality learning environments in Abu Dhabi City and the Western Region of Abu Dhabi Emirate. Successful candidates will combine an excellent track record of effective leadership experience, developed in the UK, USA or other international settings, with strong inter-personal skills and cultural awareness with the ability to manage the demands and needs of a wide range of stakeholders from Board level to parents, teachers and Principals. Exceptional communication skills combined with being a visible leader and ambassador for the school are pivotal to this role.The role requires high level strategic thinking combined with a firm grasp of how to ensure outstanding education outcomes across the school. Candidates must be committed to working in partnership with other schools within the group and developing ways to engage with strategic partners to support the work of the school, the group as a whole and the UAE’s wider education vision.Successful candidates will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the regionRESPONSIBILITIESEstablish and maintain a database of alumni contacts.Organize and facilitate alumni events, such as reunions, homecoming, and networking gatherings.Regularly communicate with alumni through newsletters, emails, and social media to keep them informed about school news and events.Foster a sense of community and belonging among alumni.Facilitate networking opportunities among alumni, encouraging professional and social connections.Provide platforms for alumni to share their success stories, experiences, and expertise with current students.Collaborate with the school's development office to engage alumni in fundraising campaigns.Seek alumni donations, endowments, and sponsorships to support the school's programs and initiatives.Develop and implement strategies to increase alumni giving and participation rates.Create and manage mentorship programs that connect alumni with current students.Implement a range of Exam Prep programmes to support G10-12 studentsMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of mentorship/exam programs, especially if third party.Plan and execute alumni-related events, including logistics, invitations, and follow-up.Ensure that events run smoothly and provide value to attendees.Develop marketing materials and content to engage alumni.Utilize various communication channels, such as social media, newsletters, and the school website, to promote alumni activities and achievements.Minimum QualificationsEssentialBachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred), with PGCE or another teacher qualificationMaster’s degree in EducationLeadership/ManagementAdministrative/Leadership certificationDemonstrable experience managing College Board ProgrammingData analysis qualification will be an advantageMinimum Experience 6 years’ experience, including 4 consecutive years of teaching performance exceeds standards and expectations as evidenced by Performance Appraisal Job Specific Knowledge & Skills Teaching certification and significant experience in Careers guidance and/or Alumni developmentLeadership experience in a school setting or educational institution.Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional best practices, and assessment strategies.Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.Passion for promoting higher level education and inspiring students to pursue courses at the best universitiesShow work flexibility A high level of professionalism and consideration of the well-being of studentsWHAT WE OFFERADNOC Schools are a family of world-class, child centered and innovative schools based in the UAE.
