You will join CIS Support Element (CSE) as part of CIS Support Unit (CSU) Brunssum, located in Ulm, DEU, which is responsible to manage, deliver and maintain assigned Communication and Information Systems (CIS) products and services for the Agency’s customers during peacetime, crisis and war throughout its assigned AoR and as otherwise directed. As the local service provider for Joint Support Enabling Command (JSEC) Ulm, it supports the NCIA in delivering secure, reliable end-to-end services under the Enterprise Service Delivery Model (ESDM).We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Head of CIS Support Element who will take on the following roles and responsibilities: Leads daily CIS support, serves as COMSEC Officer, and drives IT Service Continuity, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery planning; Oversees and coordinates all activities and resources of CSE Ulm, ensuring efficient service delivery and effective team leadership; Plans and manages local service delivery, including deployment schedules, resource allocation, and meeting quality targets; Manages relationships with customers and oversees service agreements, maintaining high standards of service quality and satisfaction; Acts as the principal NCIA representative for CSE Ulm, analyzing service demands and advising on emerging requirements; Keeps up to date with industry best practices and new technologies, supporting the development and implementation of service and project management processes; Share, report and coordinate demands and requirements and all applicable information with CSU Brunssum as lead for CSE Ulm. For a full list of duties, please review the job description on the NCI Agency career site.About you: The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are: Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline with 3 years post related experience; Or exceptionally, the lack of a degree may be compensated by the candidates particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCIA, that is, at least 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in the duties related to the function of the post.
