This role goes far beyond managing overdue accounts, you’ll design the processes, choose the tools, lead the strategy, and ensure healthy cash flow across a growing SME portfolio.You’ll work closely with legal, risks and finance teams, product and c-level to solve real challenges, create scalable systems, and manage complex cases with fairness and professionalism. This position requires someone who is hands-on, energetic, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced, startup environment.We are open to a remote start, with relocation to the UAE after the successful completion of the probation period.What You’ll Do🔹 Build and execute end-to-end collections strategies for a large and diverse SME client base🔹 Set up workflows, tools, automations, and processes for an efficient collections department🔹 Conduct market and tech research to identify best practices and implement improvements🔹 Communicate directly with clients regarding overdue invoices, settlements, and payment plans🔹 Handle critical or high-value cases personally, including on-site visits when needed🔹 Lead and coordinate legal proceedings, court processes, and external agency escalations🔹 Track payments, update internal systems, and create clear reporting for management🔹 Collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes and improve customer experience🔹 Build and grow the collections team as the company scales🔹 Identify risks, trends, and bottlenecks, and propose data-driven solutionsWhat You Bring✅ 6+ years of experience in financial operations, collections, credit control or other financial areas✅ Experience in tech, fintech, agency collections, or product/operations roles related to finance or collections✓ Bonus: Experience building collections processes in a startup or high-growth environment✅ Strong understanding of UAE legal, regulatory, and court-related processes✅ A “builder” mindset — autonomous, energetic, process-driven, and not afraid to get hands-on✅ Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills✅ High attention to detail, organization, and accountability✅ Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and make operational decisions✅ Fluency in English and Hindi✅ Currently based in the UAE or willing to relocate after probationWhy Join Us?💼 Build From Scratch – Lead and shape the entire collections function⚡ High Impact – Full ownership of strategy, tools, and key cases🌍 Regional Exposure – Work with diverse SME portfolios across the UAE📍 Flexible Start – Begin remotely, relocate after probation🤝 Strong Support – Visa sponsorship and health insurance
