Role Purpose:The Head of Commercial is responsible for leading and overseeing all commercial activities across the organization, ensuring growth, profitability, and sustainable business relationships. The role involves developing commercial strategies, managing client relations, overseeing contracts and tenders, and driving revenue targets. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial and business acumen, with solid experience in the banking or financial services sector.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement the company’s commercial strategy aligned with business objectives.Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends to drive growth.Lead commercial negotiations, tenders, and contract finalizations with clients and suppliers.Oversee pricing strategies, revenue management, and profitability targets.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.Manage corporate accounts and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.Represent the company in high-level meetings, forums, and industry events.Work closely with Finance to forecast revenue, control budgets, and manage financial risks.Ensure all commercial activities comply with legal, tax, and banking regulations.Evaluate and mitigate contractual and operational risks in all commercial transactions.Lead and mentor the commercial and business development teams to achieve KPIs.Coordinate with cross-functional departments (Finance, HR, Legal, Operations).Ensure efficient management of tenders, contracts, and supplier agreements.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in commercial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Prior experience in the banking, finance, or corporate sector is essential.Proven success in developing and executing commercial strategies.Strong understanding of financial statements, risk analysis, and contract management.Skills & Competencies:Languages: Fluent in English, Arabic, and Kurdish (spoken and written).Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.Excellent communication and presentation skills.High level of integrity, professionalism, and business judgment.
