Our client is a dynamic mid-sized insurance company which fosters a collaborative and inclusive work environment.As Head of Compliance you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of compliance program, ensuring that operations adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Direct Reporting line to CRODevelop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and proceduresMonitor and assess the effectiveness of compliance controls and risk management processesProvide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related mattersStay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practicesLiaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors as neededInvestigate and resolve compliance issues and breachesPrepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the board of directorsYour profile:Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)Minimum of 7 years of experience in a compliance role within the insurance industry (certification is preferred)In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a flat organizational structureFluency in Dutch and FrenchWhy join?
