Purpose of the roleLead and manage the Customer Acquisition Leads within a defined geographical area. Drive strategic customer acquisition efforts aligned with commercial goals, ensuring growth in new business volume, revenue, and market share.ResponsibleStrategic Business DevelopmentDefine and execute regional strategies to identify and convert high-potential prospects into programme customers.Guide and support Customer Acquisition Leads in outbound pipeline, pipeline management, and opportunity qualification.Leadership & CoachingProvide leadership, coaching, and performance management to Customer Acquisition Leads.Ensure consistent execution of acquisition strategies across the region.Customer EngagementBuild and maintain senior-level relationships with key prospects.Support Leads in tailoring value propositions and presentations to customer needs.Sales Process OversightOversee negotiation and closing of global and regional tenders.Ensure sales pipeline fulfillment for onboarding and post-sales success.Performance MonitoringTrack and analyze acquisition metrics across the region.Address underperformance and pipeline gaps proactively.Accountable forNew Business Volume & Revenue for the geographical area.Lead Performance & Conversion Rates.Customer Satisfaction (NPS) for newly acquired customers.Consulted AboutRegional market dynamics and competitor activity.Customer feedback and unmet needs.Product gaps and innovation opportunities.Critical CompetenciesStrategic business developmentRegional market expertiseNegotiation and influencingCoaching and leadershipFinancial and analytical acumenCross-functional collaborationLogistics and supply chain knowledgeMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
