Head of Data & AI

leading organization is seeking a strategic, Data & AI leader to head transformative, data-driven initiatives. This is a direct-hire opportunity — you will be employed from day one.What You’ll Be Doing:Develop and execute the organization-wide Data & AI strategLead cross-functional Data, AI & Data Science teamDesign and manage a cloud-based Data LakBuild and deploy AI/ML models to support operational and analytical needDevelop interactive data dashboards and APIs for internal stakeholderOversee the full data infrastructure lifecycle, including monitoring and optimizatioManage external vendors, define SLAs, and ensure high delivery standardCollaborate with senior leadership across departmentRequiremenBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering; or a bachelor’s degree in another field plus at least 400 academic hours of advanced courses in Information Systems.At least 5 years of experience in technological projects.At least 3 years of experience in DATA-related projects.At least 2 years of experience in developing and implementing AI/ML solutions.Experience in direct management of technological teams.Experience working with external vendors and maintaining technological infrastructures.Experience in developing API interfaces and data accessibility.Hebrew – native level; English – very high level (reading, writing, and speaking).(Significant Advantage):Master’s degree in relevant fields: Data Science, AI, Computer Science.Cloud certifications – such as AWS Solutions Architect or Data Engineer.Proven experience in building Data Lake infrastructures in AWS environments.Experience with advanced tools and models: LLM, SageMaker, Bedrock, ChatGPT, Claude.Experience in regulatory or financial work environments.Experience implementing BI solutions.Familiarity with privacy regulations such as GDPR or the Israeli Privacy Protection Law.
