This role involves contributing to business discussions, setting the vision and strategy for data and analytics (D&A) within the market, and leading the analytics team. The role ensures mastery of the local data value chain from acquisition, storage, curation, analytics, to embedding insights into business processes.Main responsibilities:Developing & implementing a comprehensive Spoke-level D&A strategy aligned with business goals and overall D&A strategy. Setting the vision for data and analytics within the market.Leading and inspiring a diverse team of data professionals. Fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.Acting as the go-to person for the Managing Director and his direct reports. Challenging and supporting business discussions with data-driven insights.Managing senior stakeholders, demonstrating strong negotiation skills. Communicating complex data insights effectively to non-technical partners.Overseeing the entire data value chain from acquisition to insights embedding within the market. Ensuring data quality, security, and compliance through robust data governance frameworks.Apply advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and data visualization to derive actionable insights. Embedding insights into business processes to drive decision-making.Overseeing complex data projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. Promoting the ethical use of data, considering privacy and legal implications.Maintaining a strong understanding of data technologies, databases, and analytics tools. Staying updated with evolving technologies and industry trends.Who you areAdvanced degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.Proven experience in a senior data leadership role.Minimum +5 years of experience in a similar role.Strong track record of implementing data strategies and leading analytics teams.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.In-depth knowledge of data governance and ethical data useProficiency in English and Swedish is required.What Swedish Match and PMI offerTheir success depends on the dedicated people who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
