Head of Data OperationsAbout the RoleA large, globally active organization is looking for a senior leader to build and scale an enterprise data operations function. This role will oversee data reliability, platform health, incident response, and quality processes across a modern data ecosystem.What You’ll DoLead a global data operations team responsible for monitoring, reliability, and issue preventionEstablish and refine a 24/7 operating model with distributed supportCreate unified dashboards and monitoring tools for data pipelines and platform performanceIntroduce automation and alerting to proactively address potential issuesOversee incident management, including communication and root cause analysisWork closely with engineering teams to ensure operational readiness for new releasesOversee data quality controls, reconciliation processes, and validation workflowsTrack uptime, SLAs, and incident trends to drive continuous improvementManage vendor relationships and external data service providersChampion automation, standardization, and efficiency across the data environmentWhat You Bring10–15 years in data operations, data management, or similar functionsExperience with modern data platforms (e.g., cloud data environments, large-scale pipelines)Background in observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident responseStrong understanding of data quality processes and operational frameworksLeadership experience building and managing global, high-performing teamsExperience running 24/7 or follow-the-sun operational modelsEducationBachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field
