Our students are supported to think critically, act creatively, and lead confidently in a changing world.About The RoleAs Head of Department, you will lead the implementation of curriculum in alignment with school and departmental initiatives, contribute to delivering the vision of the Early Childhood and State Schools Division, and support the development of teaching and learning practices. The role involves overseeing curriculum planning, guiding staff in instructional improvement, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and standards. You will also be responsible for fostering constructive relationships with students, teachers, and stakeholders to support a positive and effective educational environment.Your ResponsibilitiesAs the Head of Department - Mathematics, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.Embed socially just practices in daily school life.Set high standards for student and staff performance.Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
