Equalbase is headquartered in Singapore.Role SummaryLead the global design function across multiple markets (Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Germany, and future expansions), driving design strategy, innovation, and excellence for logistics, industrial, and data centre projects. Oversee end-to-end design activities—from feasibility and test fits to BIM coordination—ensuring alignment with business objectives, cost efficiency, and project quality.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership and set design direction, standards, and processes aligned with company goals.Manage and mentor a multi-market design team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and high performance.Oversee concept development, design reviews, visualisation, and BIM coordination throughout project lifecycle.Ensure effective resource management, budget adherence, and use of design technologies.Collaborate with internal stakeholders (QS/Contracts, Project Directors, Project Managers) to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality design outcomes.Act as the primary design representative to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring design integrity and client satisfaction.Drive continuous improvement, adopt emerging technologies, and promote sustainable design practices.Job RequirementsMinimum 10 years’ experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture, Design, or related field.Strong expertise in BIM (Revit, ACC), Lumion, and relevant design software.Proven success leading complex multi-market design projects.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Experience managing cross-cultural teams and familiarity with logistics facility design.
