Head of Development and Production

HELIOT EMIL is seeking a dynamic Head of Development & Production to lead our product creation process from concept to final delivery. This role bridges design, development, and production, ensuring innovation, precision and brand integrity.Desired skills and qualifications:Minimum 5+ years in product development and production management, preferably within high-end or luxury fashionComprehensive knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, material properties and manufacturing processesAbility to coordinate multiple projects and teams under tight timelines with precision and composureCapable of balancing creative vision with operational efficiency and commercial goals.Fluent in English (spoken and written); ability to liaise effectively between creative, technical and commercial departmentsDeep understanding of current fashion trends, materials innovation and sustainability practicesYour tasks will include but will not be limited to:Lead and manage development & production teams: Provide direction, structure and motivation to teams across sourcing, development and production to ensure seamless execution and collaborationManage all stages from prototype through to bulk production, ensuring each product meets design aesthetic, technical and margin expectationsTranslate creative concepts into structured development timelines, budgets and deliverables that align with HELIOT EMIL’s vision and seasonal strategyBuild and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers; negotiate terms, monitor performance and ensure ethical and efficient production practicesEstablish and maintain rigorous quality control standards to ensure precision in fit, finish and construction across all categories.Research and develop new materials, techniques and technologies to push design while supporting sustainability and efficiencyPlan and oversee production calendars, ensuring timely deliveries, cost efficiency and adherence to critical path milestones.Work closely with Design, Sales, and Logistics teams to align creative direction, production capacity and market timelines.Cultivate a culture of excellence, accountability and innovation within the development and production department.What we offer:Competitive salary based on qualifications and experienceCareer growth opportunities within an expanding international fashion businessHigh level of responsibility and autonomyA collaborative environment within a creative, young, and committed teamPosition based in Copenhagen, Denmark.Please attach your CV, Cover Letter and References/Recommendation.
