A long-established, award-winning B2B marketing agency is seeking a Head of Digital to lead and evolve its UK digital and media function. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will drive commercial performance, modernise the digital offering, and build a high-performing practice that delivers measurable, scalable impact for clients.About the RoleLead, mentor and grow the UK digital teams, setting the vision for how digital integrates across brand, creative, content, ABM and performance.Build and execute UK-specific digital growth strategies aligned to the agency’s broader commercial goals.Embed new digital products, tools and methodologies, including AI-enabled capabilities to enhance delivery and elevate results.Provide senior counsel on digital transformation, performance strategy, ABM, data, and customer experience.Champion best-in-class processes across digital performance, UX, content, and full-funnel activation.Own commercial performance for the digital function—forecasting, revenue, profitability, resourcing and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities1) Commercial & Growth LeadershipOwn and grow digital revenue lines while managing cost structures and forecasting.Lead strategic thinking across new business pitches; design integrated digital solutions that align with brand, creative, strategy and ABM.Strengthen the agency’s UK market presence by showcasing thought leadership, innovation and measurable digital success.2) Client Leadership & Strategic DirectionAct as senior digital sponsor across key client relationships, ensuring high-quality delivery and trusted partnership.Connect brand, content, creative, and performance data to commercial impact.Champion sophisticated measurement frameworks, attribution, incrementally, pipeline influence and ROI storytelling.3) Product Innovation & Emerging CapabilitiesDevelop the agency’s digital product roadmap across ABM, performance, content, digital experience and marketing automation.Drive experimentation across emerging platforms, data solutions and AI-assisted workflows.Create playbooks for demand generation, account-based programmes, full-funnel activation and personalised digital experiences.4) People, Culture & Capability BuildingCoach and retain multidisciplinary digital talent.Establish clear capability frameworks, skills development plans and craft excellence across the practice.Foster a collaborative, curious and inclusive culture with high creative and technical standards.5) Operations, Quality & Delivery ExcellenceOversee scoping, planning, resourcing, utilisation and delivery governance.Improve efficiency and reduce operational friction through better systems, documentation and SOPs.Work closely with Operations and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting, vendor management and long-term scalability.Experience & Qualifications10+ years in digital marketing within agencies or consultancies, with experience leading high-performing multifunctional teams.Proven responsibility for P&L, commercial planning, and complex programmes in B2B.Deep expertise in several key areas: performance marketing, ABM, SEO/content, social, data/analytics, digital experience or marketing automation.Strong understanding of modern MarTech ecosystems (e.g., 6Sense, Demandbase, Cyance, and Tutle etc) and how they support integrated B2B marketing.Track record of shaping new digital services, building innovative products and leading integrated new-business wins.Comfortable engaging at C-suite level with strong commercial storytelling skills.Skills & BehavioursStrategic mindset with the ability to connect brand, creative, digital, technology and commercial outcomes.Highly commercially aware; strong with scoping, pricing, utilisation and revenue forecasting.Analytical, curious and experimentation-oriented, with a commitment to continuous improvement.Strong leadership presence—empathetic, organised, inspiring and resilient.Excellent communicator who brings clarity while maintaining high operational and creative standards.What We OfferThis is an opportunity to shape the digital future of a respected and creatively led B2B agency.
