As Israel’s only securities exchange, TASE serves as the primary platform for raising capital and liquidity, backed by robust regulation and advanced technological infrastructure.We are looking for a Head of Economic Research to join our Economic Department.This is a unique opportunity to lead TASE’s economic research activity — combining analytical depth and strategic vision.The role involves managing a professional team responsible for macro and market research, publications, sector classifications, data analysis, and ongoing statistics on the Israeli capital market.If you have proven experience in economic research and writing, capital markets and team leadership, and if you are looking for an opportunity to shape insights that influence Israel’s financial markets — we invite you to join us at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.Please send your CV to cv@tase.co.il and indicate position number 692393.Job DescriptionThe position includes leading and managing the Research Unit’s professional work in the following areas:Writing research papers and reviews, as well as preparing ongoing statistics regarding TASE and capital market activity.Preparing and publishing periodic reports (weekly, monthly, and annual) in Hebrew and English.Responsibility for the sector classifications of listed and candidate companies, and preparing company lists for indices construction purposes.Responsibility for updating listed companies’ data on the TASE website (activity descriptions, financial highlights, etc.).Advising and providing professional support to various departments across the organization.Participating in economists’ committees within international stock exchange federations.Leading technological processes to improve and modernize TASE’s data and research systems.Delivering lectures to investor groups in Hebrew and English.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Economics.Master’s degree in Economics or another financial field.Ph.D. with specialization in financial subjects – an advantage.In-depth knowledge of the capital market, the stock exchange’s operations, and listed companies.Proven experience in economic writing.Proven experience in managing and leading a team.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work and manage under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Hebrew and English.Strong command of relevant computer applications, including financial data systems and AI-based tools.Willingness to work beyond regular working hours.
