Job Description
Job Objective:To lead the division and manage day to day activities of the overall detail/production drawings in Ship Building.Duties & responsibilities:Assist the department manager in development and implementation of process and procedures and ERM/CAD system implementation in the engineering.Preparation of Detail Drawings of each discipline for Client/Classification Societies’ approval such as single line diagram, electric load analysis, instrument type and range, cable arrangement of whole ship, cable sizing and routing based on international standards, etc based on both Contract Specification and Basic Drawings.Preparation of Production Drawings of each discipline for smooth progress of production such as cabling, installation and assemble drawings and so on.Manage the Electrical and Instrumentation Outfitting Discipline Engineers for the division.Develop and structure the division’s engineering capabilities for the Discipline in line with the department’s strategic development plan, recognising that engineering services are required in multiple locations for different types of projects.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Instrumentation EngineeringPreferred – Any additional certification / courses in electrical & instrumentation design engineering, project management9- 15 years’ experience within Accommodation division of engineering department of Shipbuilding or offshore support vessels building industry related to Accommodation outfitting, HVAC, and Piping engineering field
