Head of Engineering - Advanced Manufacturing / ProductionWe are currently partnered with rapidly scaling innovator in the sustainable consumer goods sector, with products already distributed nationwide. As part of a planned expansion into a new state of the art facility, the team are looking to bring on an experienced Head of Engineering specializing in the establishment of manufacturing processes within high regulation/hygiene environments. This is a permanent opportunity based in Berlin.Key Responsibilities: Facility Development: Lead the design and delivery of a new manufacturing site, from equipment specification and vendor management to site buildout and automation rollout.Engineering Leadership: Oversee projects across mechanical, electrical, and automation disciplines, ensuring solutions are innovative, scalable, and aligned with long-term strategy.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D, operations, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure smooth integration of new systems.Team Management: Guide and expand an engineering team, encouraging technical excellence and fostering a culture of problem-solving and innovation.Resource & Risk Control: Manage budgets, procurement, and headcount planning while mitigating technical and operational risks through robust controls.Key Requirements:10+ years of experience in automated manufacturing or advanced production environments, with at least 5 years leading engineering teams.Strong grounding in mechanical/electrical/automation systems, ideally within high-volume production environments.Familiarity with CAD tools, automation software, and compliance standards relevant to modern manufacturing.Demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale engineering projects in fast-paced, complex environments.Excellent communication skills in German and English.Keywords: Head of Engineering / Automated Manufacturing / Advanced Production / Engineering Leadership / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Automation Systems / CAD / Facility Buildout / Production Scale-Up / Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Technology / Engineering Projects / Germany JobsIf you are interested in this Head of Engineering opportunity, please send a copy of your CV to ts@eu-recruit.comBy applying to this role you understand that we may collect your personal data and store and process it on our systems.
