Our commitment to excellence ensures unparalleled service and support to partners, helping them thrive in the dynamic Iraqi market.Role Description We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Finance and Accounting to lead our financial operations and ensure strong fiscal governance across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in accounting leadership, financial strategy, and hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including daily invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Ensure all invoices are accurately issued, recorded, and reconciled in Microsoft Business Central on a daily basis.Manage month-end and year-end close processes in Microsoft Business Central, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.Collaborate with senior leadership to support business planning and decision-making through data-driven insights.Drive automation and process improvement initiatives within the Business Central environment.Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred).Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (implementation or advanced user experience required).Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS, budgeting, and financial analysis.Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.Fluency in English, Arabic, and Kurdish is mandatory.Why Join Alta?
