That’s our promise.What You’ll DoLead Financial Strategy: Define and execute strategies aligned with our ambitious growth plansOwn and Strengthen Financial Reporting Function: Ensure accurate and timely delivery of all internal and external financial reportingBudgeting & Forecasting: Oversee forecasting cycles and lead annual/quarterly planning processesPerformance Analysis: Deliver both backward- and forward-looking insights to drive business performanceBusiness Partnering: Work closely with founders and business leaders to align financial and strategic decisionsProfitability Oversight: Monitor unit economics and segment profitability, optimizing for long-term valueCash Flow Management: Manage liquidity, runway, and capital efficiency in a high-growth environmentInternal Portfolio Oversight: Oversee financial operations across AppNation’s internal product linesControls & Governance: Strengthen financial processes and internal controls. IFRS knowledge is a plus, but real-world financial rigor matters mostBanking Relationships: Manage and establish relationships with banks and financial institutionsDue Diligence: Support potential partnership evaluations with robust financial analysisTeam Leadership: Build and lead the finance function with a long-term mindset, including future hiringOffice & Operational Oversight: Take ownership of day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficient coordination between administrative, financial, and operational teamsWhat We Look ForExperience: 10+ years in finance, ideally in both startups and either Big Four or banking. Exposure to fast-scaling companies is a big plusTeam Leadership: You’ve built, led, or scaled finance teams and know what great looks likeMobile/Tech Familiarity: Experience in mobile apps or digital consumer products is a plusStrategic Thinking: Ability to connect financial data to big-picture thinkingOperational Strength: You can roll up your sleeves to get things done while staying strategic. Previous banking relations and hands-on cash-flow management is a strong plus. Financial Acumen: Strong grasp of reporting, planning, profitability, and working capital managementDue Diligence: Being involved in DD processes is a plusCommunication: Clear, concise communicator who can speak fluently with both financial and non-financial stakeholdersTools Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills and a strong understanding of modern finance tech stacks.Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana or similar is a plusWhat We OfferWork with exceptional people.
