This position offers a visible and influential leadership role within the Finance organization at a key moment in the company’s evolution.The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced and hands-on Head of Finance to lead and develop the Swiss Accounting & Controlling team. The role reports to the Country CFO. Main ResponsibilitiesFinance (approx. 70 % of the position's focus)• Be accountable for month- and year-end closing processes • Prepare financial statements in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations and IFRS, as well as tax returns (direct and indirect taxes).• Serve as the main contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring smooth and timely audit processes.• Maintain a strong internal control framework and support compliance with corporate and regulatory standards, including ICFR (Internal Control over Financial Reporting) requirements.• Contribute to strategic finance initiatives, including process optimization, system improvements, and business transformation projects.Controlling (approx. 30 % of the position's focus)• Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing Controlling team.• Partner closely with the CFO and senior management. Support the CFO in her strategic and operational decision-making.• Oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.• Monitor the company's performance, analyze variances, and provide clear, actionable insights.• Drive continuous improvement of controlling systems, tools, and reporting processes to enhance transparency and efficiency.Profile & Qualifications• Advanced Swiss accounting background such as Dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer or Dipl. Experte in Rechnungslegung & Controlling (Swiss Certified Accountant or Chartered Expert in Financial and Managerial Accounting and Reporting).• Proven track record across accounting, controlling, and/or audit.• Experience managing financial closings under tight deadlines • Solid understanding of IFRS and the Swiss Code of Obligations.• Hands-on experience with ERPs (such as JD Edwards or SAP)• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)• First experience of leading smaller teams.• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
