Head of Finance Financial Services Mayfair London £120,000 plus bonusMy client is an ambitious and rapidly scaling financial services house with a stable and secure businessThey now wish to appoint a Head of Finance who will report directly to the CEO and boardNew Role OverviewThe HOF will be a key member of the executive leadership team and develop governance around the Finance functionThe candidate will be responsible for advising on the financial stewardship and strategic direction of the company joining the Board initially as an advisory and then as a ‘Director’The candidate will manage Investor Relations and reporting with Funding partners:The candidate will develop new Treasury & Liquidity management capability which will transform the sophistication of our Financial managementKey ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives and market conditions.• Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.• Drive long-term financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes and look at policies and processes that improve outcomesFinancial Management• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, cash management & treasury, payments & receivables, budgeting, fund reporting, management accounts and audit reporting / oversight• Monitor key financial metrics, ensuring profitability, liquidity, and operational efficiency : Ensure processes and systems are implemented to simplify and automate reporting• Support executives with strategic direction on finance processes that should be insourced / outsourced• Support executives with both capital raising initiatives and business management relationships with investors, lenders, and capital stakeholders.Finance Planning • Lead the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.• Oversee portfolios financials, advising management on risk and profitability of the different books• Implement advanced financial systems and technologies to enhance reporting and decision-making capabilities.Qualifications and ExperienceEssential• Proven experience as a senior financial executive within the financial services or lending sector.• Strong understanding of the UK lending market, including regulatory requirements and market dynamics.• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.• Demonstrable experience in capital management & reporting.• Advanced knowledge of financial planning, risk management, and strategic forecasting.Key Skills• Strategic thinking and decision-making.• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.• Leadership and team management.• Adaptability to a small growth fundBenefits• Competitive salary with performance-based incentivesLTIP Incentive as part of as total compensation scheme.• Pension scheme, healthcare, and other benefits.• Opportunity to shape the strategic direction of a growing company.• Collaborative and innovative work environment.Please note.At Alexander Charles we take the protection of your data very seriously and I would draw your attention to our GDPR statement which can be found on our website under the heading “legal”By sending us your details, you will have deemed to have considered and accepted these terms.
