By blending nature-inspired design, deep tech, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, we aim to build high-performance products that create long-term impact—socially, environmentally, and economically.We are seeking a Head of Finance Operations to design, implement, and lead our financial operations globally in our offices in Renens – Lausanne Area.This role will be pivotal in ensuring scalable, compliant, and efficient finance processes across all entities and regions, supporting Freshape’s growing commercial footprint. The ideal candidate combines strong technical finance expertise with a hands-on operational mindset and a proven ability to build systems and processes in an international context.This position is 100% on site.YOUR MISSIONFinancial Operations & Control• Oversee and continuously improve core financial operations across entities (accounting, invoicing, payments, intercompany flows, cash management).• Ensure consistent financial processes globally, enabling scalability and transparency.• Partner with local accounting providers to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.Global Structure & Compliance• Define and implement an appropriate company and legal structure that supports international expansion, operational efficiency, and tax optimization.• Lead global finance operations with attention to transfer pricing, intercompany transactions, and tax compliance.• Ensure adherence to trade compliance and import/export regulations across markets.• Coordinate statutory filings, audits, and local regulatory requirements with external advisors.Systems & Processes• Implement and optimize ERP and financial systems to ensure integration and data consistency.• Standardize documentation, approval flows, and reporting templates across countries.Team & Collaboration• Support commercial expansion by aligning finance processes with global sales, logistics, and supply chain activities.• Work closely with the leadership team and department heads to ensure alignment between finance, operations, and strategy.• Build and mentor a small finance team as the organization scales.YOUR PROFILE• Master’s in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related.• 10+ years of experience in finance or accounting operations, ideally in a scaling international environment.• Strong understanding of transfer pricing, tax, and trade compliance.• Hands-on experience with multi-entity structures, cross-border transactions, and ERP implementation/optimization.• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in managing finance operations within a fast-changing, high-growth organization.• Pragmatic, structured, and capable of moving seamlessly between strategic design and day-to-day execution.• Fluent in English.WHY SHOULD YOU APPLY (NOW)?• Purpose & Impact: Join a creative, international team working on meaningful projects that combine sustainability, design, and cutting-edge technology.
