Head of Finance (#2 to CFO)Location: Berlin, GermanySalary: €85,000 – €95,000 DOEStart Date: ASAPA fast-growing international hospitality group is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to oversee its German operations.The RoleReporting directly to the Group CFO, you would be the senior finance lead for Germany, covering multiple operating entities and a central holding structure. The role combines hands-on accounting oversight, financial controlling, and business partnering with local and international stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce monthly management reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and analyse performance versus budget and forecastsEnsure accuracy and integrity of local accounting, including monthly reconciliations, payments follow-up, and intercompany transactionsReview financial statements prepared by external accountants in accordance with German GAAPPrepare annual budgets and periodic reforecastsAct as a financial business partner to key stakeholdersServe as the primary local contact for auditors, external accountants, and public authoritiesSupport Group treasury and legal teams with cash forecasting and local financial mattersMonitor investments, capital expenditure, and exceptional costs related to both operations and new openingsProfile Required3+ years’ experience in audit, financial controlling, or a similar finance roleStrong knowledge of accounting and German GAAPHighly reliable, autonomous, and solution-orientedWhat’s on OfferA key finance leadership role within a dynamic, entrepreneurial international groupHigh exposure to senior stakeholders and group-level decision-makingCompetitive salary package of €85,000 – €95,000 depending on experienceBerlin-based role with international scope
