The role will support the Group Finance Director by ensuring accurate, timely, and insightful financial information is produced, while also contributing to process improvements and enhanced financial control.🛠️ Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts across all group entities under the direction of the Group Finance DirectorLead and coordinate the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and results are reviewed with senior managementSupport the budgeting and forecasting processes, including scenario and sensitivity modelling, in collaboration with the Group Finance DirectorManage the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure effective internal controls are maintainedOversee the transition from SAGE 50 desktop to cloud-based platforms, ensuring consistency and data integrity throughoutUtilise FP&A tools such as Datarails to enhance financial reporting and provide consolidated group analysis and dashboardsDevelop bespoke financial reports and performance metrics for senior stakeholders, ensuring outputs meet the Group Finance Director’s requirementsSupervise and mentor a small finance team (2 direct reports, with potential growth to 4), promoting accuracy, efficiency, and professional developmentWork closely with internal and external auditors to ensure the timely submission of annual audits, preparing schedules and responding to audit queries as directed by the Group Finance DirectorSupport internal audit reviews and assist in implementing improvements identified through audit processesPartner with operational teams, including hotel general managers and property managers, to interpret financial performance and highlight key trendsContinuously review processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and control, while maintaining alignment with the Group Finance Director’s strategic objectives📚 Qualifications & ExperienceFully qualified accountant – CIMA preferred (ACCA or ACA also considered)Minimum 3–5 years post-qualification experience in management accounting or financial reportingStrong proficiency in SAGE accounting software, ideally with experience in migration to cloud-based platformsAdvanced Excel and proven experience with FP&A tools (e.g. Datarails, Adaptive, Anaplan)Strong financial modelling and analytical skillsBackground in hospitality, real estate, or family office environments is advantageousExcellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with senior management💼 Desirable AttributesHighly organised and able to manage multiple priorities under guidanceDetail-oriented, reliable, and proactive in improving financial processesCollaborative team player with a professional, discreet, and trustworthy approachComfortable working in a dynamic, multi-entity environmentInterested in supporting luxury hospitality and property investment projects
