Head of Finance

Location: THL | Employment Type: Full-time | Reports to: DirectorAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to join our growing team. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will shape and execute the financial strategy for a dynamic, fast-scaling multinational business. You will oversee end-to-end financial management, lead cross-functional finance initiatives, and provide strategic insights that influence key business decisions and long-term growth.If you thrive in a global environment, enjoy working with cross-functional teams, and want to make a tangible impact, this role is perfect for you.What You’ll Do:Financial Operations & Setup- Build the company’s finance processes, systems, and policies from scratch (accounting, reporting, payroll, expense tracking).- Set up accounting flows, banking arrangements, and payment workflows.- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.Budgeting & Forecasting- Create and monitor annual budgets and rolling forecasts.- Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making and fundraising- Provide cash flow analysis to ensure liquidity and operational stability.- Implement strong internal controls and monitor financial performance to mitigate risks.Strategic Finance & Business Partnering- Provide financial insights to leadership for strategic initiatives.- Support fundraising by preparing management reports, investor reports, pitch materials, and due diligence documentation.- Collaborate with global and regional teams, providing financial insights and reports for leadership and stakeholders.- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration.- Partner with auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders as required.- Support cross-functional projects, helping drive efficiency and innovation across the organization.What We’re Looking For:- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, CFA certifications are a plus.- Minimum 12–15 years of progressive experience in finance, including 3–5 years in a Head of Finance or CFO role.- Proven track record leading financing rounds of $100M+ (debt or equity), or driving multi-market scale-up initiatives.- Strong expertise in IFRS standards (specifically IFRS 9, 15, and 16), with experience in multi-currency financial consolidation.- Preferred industry experience in iGaming, fintech, or payments, including exposure to PSP operations, AML/CTF compliance, and player fund segregation.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.- Detail-oriented, proactive, and hands-on in managing financial operations.Why Join Us:- Work in a global, multicultural environment with opportunities to interact with international teams.- Lead and develop a talented finance team while shaping the company’s financial strategy.- Gain exposure to cross-functional projects and strategic decision-making.- Competitive compensation and opportunities for career growth in a dynamic organization.
