Head of Finance

Mike Cox of Robert Half is exclusively partnered with a tech-forward, high growth SaaS company in Los Angeles to recruit a newly created Head of Finance.Reporting to the CEO/Founder, the Head of Finance is uniquely positioned to lead the finance function through its next phase of growth. As a key member of their leadership team, you’ll partner closely with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations. You’ll be responsible for driving the company’s financial strategy, planning, and operations, ensuring the company remains focused on value creation and capital-efficient growth. You will focus on 4 keys elements while operating as the Head of Finance: Strategic Finance & LeadershipRevenue Operations & Business Performance Financial Operations & Controls Cross-Functional Collaboration To be considered: Bachelor's Degree + MBA (ideal)Proven track record leading finance within a high-growth SaaS organization.Strong background in FP&A, business modeling, and operational finance.Demonstrated ability to partner with GTM teams (sales, marketing, and customer success) to drive revenue efficiency and accountability.Deep understanding of accounting and reporting (CPA a plus but not required).Comfortable interacting with and presenting to the Board of Directors and investors.Experience building or enhancing financial systems and tools (NetSuite, Quickbooks, Salesforce, etc.).Strong understanding of SaaS metrics such as ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, sales efficiency, and payback period.Experience supporting fundraising, M&A, or investor due diligence processes.
