OUR CLIENTA Public Listed company.We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Director to lead the setup, establishment, and ongoing operations of our Finance Shared Services Center (SSC). This role will be responsible for driving finance transformation, process standardization, and operational excellence across multiple business units.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in setting up or transitioning Finance Shared Services, along with strong leadership in managing large-scale finance operations.Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end setup of the Finance Shared Services Center, including design, planning, implementation, and transition phases.Develop and execute the operating model, governance structure, and service delivery framework for the SSC.Drive process migration and knowledge transfer from existing business units to the SSC.Establish KPIs, SLAs, and performance dashboards to monitor SSC performance and service quality.Provide financial and operational leadership for the SSC, aligning with group finance strategy and business goals.Partner with the Group CFO, regional finance heads, and functional leaders to ensure seamless alignment and collaboration.Lead a high-performing team of finance professionals across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GL, Reporting, and FP&A.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, process automation, and digital transformation within the SSC.Ensure all SSC operations comply with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.Oversee audit processes, risk management, and SOX/internal control compliance (where applicable).Maintain high accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting and closing processes.Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma / RPA).Drive cost optimization, efficiency gains, and service excellence.Lead automation initiatives leveraging ERP systems and digital tools.Key Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Professional qualification preferred (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA).Minimum 12 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within a Shared Services or Global Business Services (GBS) environment.Proven track record in setting up or transitioning Finance SSCs (start-up or transformation phase).Strong knowledge of end-to-end finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A).Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and finance automation tools.Excellent stakeholder management, project leadership, and communication skills.Strong change management and cross-cultural collaboration abilities.* Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
