HEAD OF FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSISHigh Growth Technology Services BusinessMilton Keynes (Hybrid: 3 days in office)£85,000 – £95,000 + bonus + packageBaker Charles is partnering with a rapidly growing, private equity–backed technology and services business to appoint a newly created Head of FP&A.This is an exciting opportunity to join a complex, data-driven organisation operating at meaningful scale. The business generates c.£50m in gross revenue and c.£10m EBITDA, with significant opportunities to drive profitability further through enhanced insight, improved performance and new product offerings. The role will work closely with the C-suite and will also interact directly with investors, requiring someone with strong analytical capability, excellent communication skills and credibility with senior stakeholders, while remaining hands-on when needed.The Head of FP&A will lead the financial planning cycle, deepen financial insight across the organisation and support decision-making at the highest level. Responsibilities include:Leading budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planningDriving commercial analysis, KPI development and performance reportingDelivering detailed profitability, pricing and margin analysisBuilding financial models to support strategic projects, growth initiatives and potential deal processStrengthening data analytics capability, including Power BI and SQL-based insightsPartnering closely with commercial, strategy and operational teams to challenge assumptions and support performanceEnhancing the quality, clarity and timeliness of reporting to senior leadership and investorsWe are seeking a commercially minded FP&A operator with strong analytical skills and the confidence to operate at C-suite and investor level. You will likely bring financial modelling experience from Transaction Services, Corporate Finance Advisory or a similarly analytical FP&A role, along with proven ability to operate in a complex, high-growth environment. You should be comfortable navigating complexity and working with large data sets and using tools such as Power BI or SQL to produce meaningful insight.The ability to communicate clearly, challenge constructively and simplify complexity is essential, alongside a proactive, hands-on approach and a genuine passion for driving performance and value creation.This is a standout opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, shaping a high-performing FP&A function and delivering material impact on EBITDA in the short and medium term.
