Interim Head of FP&A:My client, a leading online services organisation has a requirement for an interim Head of Financial Planning and Analysis.Location: Remote from Ireland. The client has offices in Galway and some time will be required in that office but the person taking on the role can live anywhere in Ireland if they are open to occasional travel.6 Month Interim Contract with the possibility it can be extended or be converted to a permanent roleIdeally you should be immediately available or available within 2 weeksRemote roleSalary and Benefits: Up to €85000 per pro rataStart Date: Immediate or as soon as availableThe Opportunity:This is an opportunity for an experienced FP&A Manager to provide business partnership support to the CFO and other leadership stakeholders. The role specifically supports business decision making and is responsible for all aspects of financial planning and analysis.Core Responsibilities:Build and maintain a fully integrated financial model (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to support, funding rounds and strategic and operational decision-making.Prepare monthly and quarterly financial performance reports,Deliver variance analysis and provide forecasts and budgets guidance and advice.Analyse historical and current trends in revenue, expenses and key performance indicators enabling more accurate and robust financial forecasts.Support the firm’s annual budget and forecasting processes, assisting the leadership team with accurate data, analysis and insights to ensure informed decision-making.Support audit and internal controls processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory obligations.Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to teams across the business and provide support in evaluating new business opportunities.Support standardisation of financial reporting packs and dashboards.Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to assist in operational decision making and support strategic projects.Required Skills and Experience:Hard skills and experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior level FP&A role.Experience in a rapid growth technology focused environment is a must.Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.Master’s degree in Economics or Finance, or a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Advanced Excel and data and analysis technical skills.
