They have a world renowned culture, a great and growing client base, and phenomenal technology capabilities to leverage.The team:The team partner with leading financial institutions, to create and execute sustainable transformation initiatives across their businesses. They work across insurance, wealth & asset management, investment banking, payments and retail banking to deliver long lasting change. Their clients include global asset managers, Top 5 banks, regional insurers and scaling WealthTech firms.Their work is hugely varied, from digital strategy, innovation and transformation, to operating model design, to operational excellence and organisational transformation, to executing risk-focussed and regulatory change.The role:This role is an opportunity to take a leadership role in a rapidly growing and high-profile region for the business.In your role as the senior regional leader, your focus will be on driving business and strategic growth, which includes:Business Expansion: Identify opportunities and devise a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue and growth targets for the Canadian business.Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture robust client relationships, serving as a trusted strategic advisor and collaborating effectively with stakeholders at every level of client organizations.Market Strategy: Conduct thorough market and trend analysis to pinpoint viable strategic growth avenues.Solution Innovation: Proactively apply deep industry knowledge to recommend forward-thinking and innovative solutions that effectively address the changing needs of our clients.Expert Problem Solving: Generate solutions to intricate problems by demonstrating comprehensive subject matter expertise, independent thought, and clear, concise communication.Proposal Leadership: Directly manage and actively participate in the full proposal lifecycle, encompassing RFP responses, pitch preparation, and setting pricing strategies.Regional Strategy & Alignment: Spearhead business development and marketing initiatives across the region, coordinating with practice leads to ensure alignment with the firm’s core capabilities.Team Development: Mentor and coach consultants and senior consultants to enhance their practical experience and deepen their industry-specific knowledge.Sucessful candidates will have the following:Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in Banking or Wealth Management, gained through a management consulting firm.Network: An established and strong professional network within the financial services sector in Canada.Sector Expertise: A profound grasp of the wealth and retail banking landscape, including competitive dynamics, regulatory mandates, industry trends, and emerging opportunities.Delivery Acumen: Understanding of the complexities involved in large-scale program delivery, as hands-on implementation experience is integral to our sales approach.Team Management: Proven experience overseeing multiple multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects while fostering team motivation and success.Leadership & Influence: Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with internal teams and client stakeholders across all organizational levels.Sales Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in sales, project acquisition, and leading the proposal development process.Mindset: An entrepreneurial spirit, a commitment to continuous learning, and a drive to cultivate a high-performance culture.Travel: The willingness and capacity to travel as needed.The logistics:My client offers a salary of C$200,000 to C$300,000, dependent on experience, with prosperous company benefits.
