Head of FP&ALondon (Hybrid)£120,000–£140,000 + BonusAn established, PE backed scaling fintech led business is undergoing a major digital transformation and hiring a Head of FP&A to shape the future of its financial planning capability. This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly visible, high impact leadership role partnering directly with the CEO, CFO and senior executives across the business.The OpportunityYou’ll lead a lean FP&A function and play a pivotal role in building a modern, insight driven finance engine during a period of significant strategic change. The remit is broad: financial modelling, scenario planning, forecasting, embedding performance discipline and driving decision making at the highest level.The business is investing in new digital tools and planning systems, with the mandate to move from traditional FP&A towards a more forward looking, data enabled and strategic capability. For the right leader, this is a genuine “build and elevate” role.What You’ll LeadPrimary finance partner to the CEO & CFO, owning group financial performance and embedding strong financial rigour.Annual and long range planning, partnering with budget owners and shaping both top down targets and bottom up plans.Forecasting & financial modelling, including scenario planning in a dynamic, fast moving market environment.Insight generation, working closely with data teams to turn metrics and leading indicators into actionable strategies.Support strategic events including M&A, fundraising, due diligence and board level analysis.Team leadership, developing a high-performing FP&A team and improving processes, clarity and ways of working.What You’ll BringDeep FP&A expertise with strong financial discipline, analytical rigour and an ability to simplify complexity.Exceptional business partnering skills, comfortable influencing senior leaders and telling the financial story.Experience leading small but high impact teams in fast-paced, high growth or evolving environments.
