To continue our growth story, we’re now looking for a Head of Group Financial Control – a strategic yet hands-on finance leader who will take ownership of our group’s financial control, compliance, and reporting agenda.As Head of Group Financial Control, you are managing the Group Financial Controls function, currently consisting of one member. You will be a part of the Finance Management team and report to Group CFO. You will play a key role in securing the financial integrity of our global organization. You’ll lead the group’s accounting, reporting, and consolidation processes, ensuring we meet the highest standards of quality, transparency, and compliance.Your mission includes owning the group’s accounting policies and IFRS framework, driving internal financial control, and ensuring accurate and timely group reporting. Moreover, you will take on a group wide responsibility for Financial Control, coordinating with internal stakeholders in the different regions within Cibes Lift. You’ll also take a leading and collaborative role in tax strategy, group audits, and the financial integration of new acquisitions.This is both a strategic and operational role – one where you can truly shape how Cibes Lift runs its financial operations globally.Main responsibilitiesLead and develop the Group Financial Control team, fostering collaboration and professional growth across regions.Drive accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.Own and communicate group accounting principles and IFRS standards across the organization.Ensure strong internal financial control frameworks and support their implementation throughout the group.Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate the group audit process.Support financial integration of acquired companies, including PPA and opening balance processes.Collaborate with IT and regional finance teams to continuously improve financial systems, reporting processes, and data quality.We’re looking for a finance leader who combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills. You are comfortable in being an indirect expert leader in a decentralized organisation, with a proven track record of managing senior internal stakeholders, collaborating towards a common goal. You’re structured, analytical, and thrive in a fast-paced, international environment where things are constantly evolving.We believe you have:A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.At least 15 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in a senior Group Financial Control role within a global organization.Leadership capabilities, but not necessarily extensive leadership background.Solid experience with IFRS and group consolidation.Proven ability to design and implement financial control frameworks.Experience with tax strategy, transfer pricing, and compliance.Background in auditing (Big 4 experience is a plus).Strong communication skills in both English and Swedish.In this recruitment process Cibes lift is collaborating with Future Value.
