This role will have strategic ownership of solutions including SASE, Cloud Security, Web Application & API Security (WAAP), Email & Collaboration Security, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and any emerging technologies identified as part of the Growth Technology portfolio.This role is sales-focused and will lead a team responsible for driving revenue, market penetration, and adoption of these emerging technologies. You will report to the Regional Sales Director and collaborate closely with the country leadership, product specialists, and broader sales organization to achieve aggressive growth objectives.Your MissionTo drive growth and market leadership in key technology domains by building and executing a winning sales strategy, developing a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional business outcomes for Check Point in Japan.Key ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership & Growth ExecutionOwn and deliver the revenue and growth targets for all Growth Technology solutions (SASE, Cloud Security, WAAP, ERM, Email & Collaboration Security) in Japan.Develop and execute sales strategies and go-to-market plans aligned with regional and global priorities.Build and manage a high-performing Growth Technology Sales team, including hiring, coaching, and developing talent.Drive pipeline generation through direct sales engagement, channel enablement, and marketing alignment.Customer & Market EngagementEngage directly with C-level and senior stakeholders to position Check Point as a strategic security partner.Deliver compelling value-based proposals and business cases that resonate with customer priorities.Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging customer needs to shape sales plays.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with regional and local sales leaders, sales engineering, marketing, and channel teams to scale growth technology adoption.Work closely with product and solution specialists to deliver impactful customer presentations, demos, and executive briefings.Drive alignment with global product and marketing teams to ensure Japan’s needs are represented in strategy and planning.Business Management & ReportingDevelop accurate forecasts and growth plans, and report performance against KPIs.Monitor and manage sales performance metrics, win rates, and pipeline coverage for growth technologies.Ensure operational excellence in deal execution and adherence to governance standards.QualificationsWhat You Bring10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or enterprise technology sales, including at least 2+ years in leadership roles.Proven track record of leading high-growth sales teams and achieving or exceeding revenue targets.Strong understanding of emerging security domains, including SASE, Zero Trust, Cloud Security, WAAP, and Email Security.Exceptional executive presence and ability to influence C-level decision-makers.Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate technology into business value.Experience in driving pipeline generation, complex deal negotiation, and managing multi-million-dollar portfolios.Ability to recruit, mentor, and develop top sales talent in a competitive market.Familiarity with the Japanese market, including customer dynamics and channel ecosystems.Fluency in Japanese and English required.Why Join UsLead one of the most strategic and fastest-growing cybersecurity portfolios, shaping and scaling next-generation security solutions in Japan.Gain exposure to cutting-edge, award-winning technologies and work with innovative products recognized globally.Collaborate with visionary leaders, a world-class leadership team, and exceptional talent across the region.Enjoy opportunities for global career growth, professional development, and real-world impact by securing enterprises across Japan and Asia.Benefit from competitive compensation, RSUs, and long-term career advancement opportunities.
