Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Head of HR to join a leading gas distribution company in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on and strategic HR professional capable of building and leading the HR function from the ground up. This role will be responsible for developing and managing all aspects of human resources — from HR operations and employee relations to recruitment and training — to support the company's growth and operational excellence. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping a positive workplace culture and ensuring that HR processes align with business goals.Main ResponsibilitiesEstablish, structure, and lead the HR function from scratch, setting up all key HR processes and systemsOversee the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboardingManage HR operations including employee documentation, contracts, renewals, and payroll coordinationDevelop and implement HR policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks in line with Saudi labor laws and regulationsServe as the main point of contact for all government relations matters related to HR (e.g., GOSI, Mudad, Qiwa, Muqeem)Design and execute training and development programs to support employee growth and operational efficiencyPartner with management to understand workforce needs, support strategic planning, and promote employee engagementHandle employee relations issues with tact and fairness, ensuring alignment with company values and legal requirementsBuild and manage an HR team as the function growsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldProven experience setting up or leading HR operations in a developing or growing organizationStrong knowledge of Saudi labor law and HR compliance requirementsHands-on experience managing government portals such as Qiwa, GOSI, and MudadExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organized, proactive, and adaptable to a dynamic environment with limited existing structureStrong leadership and stakeholder management skillsFluency in Arabic and English is mandatory
