Group Head of HR - CorkReporting directly to the joint Managing Directors, this is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a dynamic leadership team in the development and execution of the strategy to grow the business.This person will be responsible for the people agenda across our business and the development of HR teamDeliver and develop the HR StrategyWork closely with the key business stakeholders to further implement the HR standard across the businessProvide leadership and own the ER/IR across the business aDevelop a robust talent development planConsult, advise, influence and partner with leadership on talent strategies and actions to build an engaged and high-performing business.Participate in the interview/selection of talent in assigned roles and perform compensation analysis to drive competitive offersIdentify training needs for by site/function and team development/coaching needs and participate in evaluation and monitoring of training and coaching to ensure success and return on investment.Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of HR professionalsCandidate ProfileThe ideal candidate needs to be a resourceful, results-driven individual with a strong sense of urgency who can build trusted relationships and understands the importance of delivering on the people agenda the successful candidate should have:Business degree or relevant equivalent qualification is an advantage,A minimum of 10 years’ experience in leading and managing a HR function in a Senior HR Leadership roleProven experience in managing multi sites and multi unions. Proven successful project management skillsProven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and human resources systemsExcellent facilitation, problem-solving, coaching and critical thinking skills. and presentation skillExcellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including influencing, consultative, and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectivesDemonstrate strong leadership and team developmentExcellent negotiation and conflict resolution skillGood understand of HRIS, payroll oversight and compensation strategies.There is a requirement to frequently travel to the across Ireland and the UK as part of this role.
