Job Description

Responsibilities:Directs the identification and evaluation of the Company’s audit risk areas and overseeing the development of the risk-based annual audit plan.Oversees the internal audit function’s Quality Assurance and Improvement Program.Prepares/updates internal audit governance documents (i.e., Internal Audit charter, Audit Committee charter, Internal Audit manual, etc.)Directs internal auditors in the planning, organizing, and monitoring of internal audit operations to maintain productivity and ensure effective and timely performance.Directs the auditors during the overall performance of audit procedures, in developing criteria for testing, reviewing audit work, analyzing evidence, and documenting evidence with respect to identified audit observations and related implicationsAssesses the effectiveness of internal control systems and their compliance with rules, procedures, applicable laws, and regulations.Checks adequacy of systems for recording and protecting the Company’s assets, liabilities, contractual and contingent commitments.Communicates the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and verbal presentations to Management and the Audit Committee.Benchmarks audit work processes and promotes continuous process improvement.Experience: 10-15 years of internal or external audit experience in well-known audit firms or financial institute. 10-15 years’ experience in financial services industry particularly in Internal Audit key positionQualifications:Bachelor degree in business administration, Accounting, Audit, Finance, or other related fields.CIA, CPA, or other equivalent professional qualification.
