Head of IT Infrastructure

We have partnered with a leading organisation in Dubai to hire a Vice President - IT Infrastructure to lead their enterprise-wide infrastructure strategy and operations.This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing outsourced infrastructure services, driving automation and AI-led operations, and ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency across hybrid environments.About the role:Define and execute the organisation's IT infrastructure strategy in line with its digital transformation roadmap.Govern relationships with global service providers, ensuring SLA compliance and delivery excellence.Oversee day-to-day infrastructure operations covering data centres, cloud, network, and workplace technologies.Champion automation and AI-driven solutions (AIOps, predictive monitoring, self-healing systems).Optimise infrastructure budgets through effective cost and contract management.Partner with security and digital leaders to ensure compliance, resilience, and innovation across platforms.Lead a small internal governance team while managing large-scale outsourced operations. About you:15+ years of IT experience, with at least 8 years in senior infrastructure leadership roles.Proven success managing outsourced or global infrastructure service providers.Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), networking, and hybrid environments.Strong knowledge of ITIL, SLA/OLA management, and infrastructure governance.Experience implementing automation, AIOps, or orchestration tools to enhance performance and reduce costs.Excellent stakeholder management, vendor negotiation, and leadership skills.A degree in Computer Science or Engineering; an MBA is preferred.
