The organization is among the fastest-growing companies in healthtech, and it’s just getting started.About The RoleOur client is hiring a Head of IT to make sure every employee can do their best work securely, reliably, and with great tools at their fingertips. This role will own the full corporate IT stack including SaaS systems and operational hardware, and partner with security & compliance to protect patient data.Reporting directly to the CTO, this individual will set the long-term vision for IT service excellence. They will partner closely with clinical, product, and business leaders to balance usability with control, cost with resilience, and speed with safety. Their work will keep day-to-day operations running smoothly, support rapid head-count and geographic growth, and help safeguard the platform that delivers life-changing care to patients.Key ResponsibilitiesSet the IT vision and roadmap covering endpoint lifecycle, collaboration suites (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom), SaaS onboarding/off-boarding, and IT service management.Run a world-class help desk defining SLAs, track KPIs, and ensure employees get fast, friendly support.Lead endpoint and asset management with modern MDM tools; automate provisioning and patching to minimize toil.Manage vendors and licensing by negotiating contracts, optimizing spend, and maintaining accurate software asset inventories.Establish IT policies & processes for procurement, change management, and business-continuity / disaster-recovery (BC/DR).Educate the organization by delivering engaging trainings and easy-to-follow guidance for clinicians and business staff.Collaborate with executives and department heads to understand their workflows and deliver pragmatic, scalable technology solutions using AI.Partner with the security organization to secure the data of patients and partners.Required Qualifications10+ years in corporate IT & infrastructureProven success running IT operations in healthtech or highly regulated industries is a plusManaged teams with a minimum of 10 individualsHands-on expertise in:MDM/endpoint platformsITSM toolsSaaS administration and business logic configuration (Salesforce, marketing clouds, etc)Familiar with ITIL practices and capable of building lightweight, right-sized processes for a scaling startupExcellent communicator who can translate tech jargon into plain-English guidance for clinicians, executives, and board membersThrive in high-growth, fast-paced environments; comfortable switching between strategic planning and hands-on troubleshootingPreferred QualificationsNone specifiedAdditional InformationAutonomy to tackle big, complex problems that matterAn opportunity to improve lives every single dayA chance to shape a category-defining company at scaleMedical, dental, and vision insuranceCompetitive total compensation and meaningful equityTelaDoc (virtual primary care)National and local discounts powered by TriNetUnlimited PTO and paid holidaysRemote equipment setup and home office stipendPaid Parental Leave401K and 401K matchCharitable Donation Match programExpected compensation: $200,000-$300,000 annual base salaryLocation: RemoteNote:“We are not the EOR (Employer of Record) for this position.
