In this role, you will primarily focus on scaling Carry Davan D2C as core marketing direction while owning the marketing funnel with a controlled media spend.About the Role:We are hiring an experienced Head of Marketing to oversee daily marketing operations, drive brand growth, manage key functions (Source and manage influencer campaigns, media buying, product launches), and ensure profitability and customer satisfaction. This role is key for scaling the brand further.This is a Full-Time Hybrid/remote role, with a growth path to higher leadership (COO or equivalent).We are looking for a Head of Marketing specifically with these requirements:5+ years of experience managing marketing for eCommerce/DTC brands (ideally $5M–$20M in revenue).Hands-on knowledge of Shopify, and eCommerce supply chains. (Wordpress is a plus)Organic and Influencer Marketing experience in a D2C product niche is a must.Background in consumer products (lifestyle, skincare, supplements, or similar) is a strong plus.Track record of managing a strong P&L, budgets, and financial reporting.Experience hiring and managing remote teams (customer service, media buyers, VAs).Strong organizational and process-building skills; able to design efficient systems.Financial acumen: comfortable cutting costs, negotiating, and driving profitability.Skilled in KPI tracking, data dashboards, and performance reporting.Strong communication and leadership skills for remote teams.Proactive and resourceful problem-solver; highly accountable with an ownership mentality.Detail-oriented while still thinking strategically. Calm under pressure; thrives in a fast-paced environment.Your responsibility will include (but not limited to):Oversee marketing for all product categories under the Davan Designs portfolio.Launch multiple (2 a week) brand campaigns for testing organic and paid ads (or as per company strategy).Manage and scale customer service to ensure fast response times and high CSAT (e.g. 4.5+).Recruit, onboard, and manage media buyers/advertisers and virtual assistants.Full Marketing ownership: monitor media ad costs, manage budgets, ensure profitability.Weekly reporting of KPIs and progress: units sold, return/defect rates, profit margins, ad spend ROI, customer feedback metrics etc.Growth Opportunities/Perks:Salary Range between $80,000-$100,000 base with uncapped bonus 15% of net new revenue over baseline with significant upside if brand scales.Path to COO / CMO leadership role as the company expands.30 vacation days/year.Flexible, remote working.High impact / ownership over what you do and how things operate.You’re not a fit for this role if:You haven’t worked at a DTC e-commerce company.You haven’t worked with Shopify, TikTok, Meta ads, or Short form content.You don’t have strong ownership of results and actions.Our hiring process is made up of three parts, so please be aware that you will need to dedicate time for a video panel interview, and two 1-on-1 interviews with the founders.
