Position: Marketing HeadLocation: KathmanduIndustry: Heavy Equipment / Construction Equipment/ FMCG/ AdvertisingExperience Level: 8–10 years in Strategic MarketingPosition Overview:The Marketing Head will be responsible for leading the overall marketing strategy, planning, and execution to strengthen the company’s brand presence, support sales growth, and enhance customer engagement across all branches. The role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in the heavy equipment, automobile, or capital goods industry.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement the annual marketing strategy, including budgeting, activity calendar, and campaign roadmap aligned with business and sales targets.Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (BTL, ATL, and digital) to promote products and enhance brand visibility.Identify and leverage branding and promotional opportunities to strengthen the company’s market position.Collaborate closely with the sales team to design and support campaigns aimed at achieving market share, spare parts, and service sales targets.Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, customer insights, and potential opportunities.Develop sales enablement materials such as sales kits, product brochures, and comparison sheets highlighting product USPs and pricing advantages.Lead digital marketing initiatives across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, etc.), ensuring consistent engagement and prompt query management.Manage media relations, PR activities, events, and trade shows to build and sustain the company’s brand image.Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to assess ROI and ensure continuous improvement.Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and internal departments to ensure alignment in all marketing communications.Key Requirements:Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 8–10 years of experience in strategic marketing, preferably within the automobile, commercial vehicle, or heavy equipment sector, Fmcg, advertising.Proven experience in marketing strategy development, budgeting, and campaign planning.Strong understanding of BTL and digital marketing, branding, and customer engagement strategies.Hands-on experience in market research, competitor mapping, and development of sales tools.Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.Ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery.Preferred Attributes:Strategic and analytical mindset with creative problem-solving skills.Strong understanding of technical product marketing in the heavy equipment domain.Ability to lead teams, manage agencies, and deliver results under pressure.
