Customer centric, we offer an empowering, entrepreneurial culture – and a place to thrive and grow.Ferring+YouAs Head of Marketing Italy you will be responsible for defining and executing the local marketing strategy, ensuring full alignment with Ferring’s global and regional directions while adapting and implementing corporate materials and initiatives to the Italian market.This role combines strategic thinking, customer marketing excellence, innovation, and a data-driven mindset to drive growth, strengthen Ferring’s brand positioning, and identify new business opportunities together with the General Manager.Your day at FerringStrategic LeadershipDesign and implement the Italian marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with global brand strategies and corporate objectives.Translate global marketing platforms, assets, and campaigns into locally relevant programs, ensuring consistency of messaging and measurable impact across channels.Partner closely with the General Manager to identify and evaluate market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and potential portfolio expansion areas.Provide strategic, data-informed input into business planning, forecasting, and long-range brand development for the Italian market.Promote a culture of innovation and data-driven decision-making, challenging the status quo and fostering new ideas, processes, and partnerships to enhance brand performance and customer engagement.Customer Marketing & ExecutionDrive a customer-centric and insight-driven marketing approach, ensuring that brand plans and initiatives are based on robust data from healthcare professionals, patients, and payersLead the local adaptation and implementation of marketing materials, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and local regulationsDevelop integrated, multichannel communication and engagement strategies, leveraging digital innovation and analytics to maximize effectivenessChampion data-driven marketing, using metrics, dashboards, and performance insights to continuously optimize campaigns, content, and customer engagement modelsIntroduce and champion innovative engagement formats that enhance reach, personalization, and value for customersMonitor campaign performance, market share trends, and customer experience metrics to drive continuous improvement and ROI optimization.Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate closely with Sales, Medical, Market Access, and Corporate Affairs teams to ensure full strategic alignment and effective executionAct as the local ambassador for the Therapeutic Areas, ensuring continuous dialogue between local and global teamsContribute to launch readiness and post-launch performance by aligning local priorities and ensuring operational excellenceFoster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and data literacy within the marketing team.People & Budget ManagementLead, develop, and inspire the local marketing team to deliver high performance, analytical rigor, and professional growthManage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring strategic allocation of resources and financial discipline.Behind our innovation…There’s you5 years of experience in senior marketing roles within the pharmaceutical industrySolid expertise in both strategy and execution, across marketing and ideally sales functionsProven experience in customer marketing, and in translating global strategies into impactful local implementationDemonstrated ability to identify and evaluate new business opportunities and contribute to strategic decision-makingTrack record in driving innovation and data-driven transformation in marketing processes, customer engagement, or go-to-market modelsStrong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and convert insights into actionable plansExcellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in a matrix organizationStrong understanding of the Italian healthcare market, competitive landscape, and customer needsExceptional communication, influencing, and presentation skillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Life SciencesFluency in English and Italian requiredPeople come first at FerringGet inspired from our commitment to advocate for everyone’s right to build a family, no matter who you are, where you live or who you loveOur inclusive support package – “Building Families at Ferring” provides equal and accessible policies for all employees who wish to start their family journey, ensuring a global standard, irrespective of location and role.
