Position – Head – M & ALocation – DubaiExcellent Renumeration for the ideal candidateJob Description : The role offers an opportunity to leave a mark on the transformation of a group with ambitious growth target. The position will be focused on assessment and execution of transactions in Eastern Europe and West Africa, across existing & new sectors. The role requires working closely with family office for private equity and credit opportunities. Execute the M&A project management processes including due diligence, negotiations, transaction closing, supporting the country and business unit heads. Job Responsibilities:Execution: Help screen advisors for transactions including negotiating mandate letters, agreements with advisors, etc. Plan and direct due diligence activities across all functional areas of any transaction inclusive of commercial, financial, products, operations, technology, sales and marketing (e.g., competitive analysis, to enable informed decision-making for merger & acquisition transactions) Negotiate terms with counter parties (term sheets, agreements, etc.), direct lawyers in drawing up sale purchase and shareholder and other relevant agreements Research & Analytics :Oversee detailed target analysis including operating plans, business plans and financial models, benchmarking for various businesses.Develop operating models that are highly flexible to be able to manoeuvre through multiple scenarios for the purpose of enabling necessary and abrupt changes in a real-time basis.Lead the preparation of detailed financial models, perform business/asset valuation using precedent transactions, comparable company analysis, and discounted cash flow analysis. Collaboration :Collaborate with leadership teams of existing businesses to identify new investment/acquisition opportunities and lead transactions on their behalf.Identify markets, Industries, geographies and technologies that complement existing businesses and translate these analyses into specified targets.Work with business leadership of prospecting businesses in supporting management and execution of the merger or acquisition process throughout the transaction life cycle.Direct outside advisors and consultants when required Requirements (Skills / Competencies)10+ years of corporate M&A experience, ideally in multiple countries.Outstanding analytical and advisory skills. Ability to digest large amounts of data (numerical and text), identify the key issues and present these in a concise and clear manner to non- subject matter experts .Comfortable in conducting both primary (interviews, surveys) and secondary (desk-based) market research.Strong competence in financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, creative commercial thinking. Ability to deliver “client-ready” (accurate, consistent, polished) output in PowerPoint, Excel, Word formats that clearly communicates key messages Key Relationships : Country management and various Business heads in countries Eligible and interested candidates to send their resume at ramni@hirerightt.ca
