Key ResponsibilitiesSales Team Leadership & Development:Lead, mentor, coach, and manage a high-performing team of Account Managers focused on the mid-market segment.Set clear sales targets, expectations, and performance metrics for the team.Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify development opportunities for team members.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.Sales Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy specifically for the mid-market segment, aligned with overall company objectives.Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the target mid-market accounts.Oversee the sales cycle for key deals, providing guidance and support to the team as needed.Collaborate with Marketing to develop targeted campaigns and messaging for the mid-market.Customer Relationship ManagementWork closely with key customers within the mid-market segment to understand their needs, challenges, and business objectives.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams (e.g., Product, Support) to resolve issues and improve the customer experience.Sales Performance ManagementMonitor and analyse sales performance against targets, pipeline health, and other key metrics for the mid-market segment.Develop accurate sales forecasts and provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership.Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve or exceed sales targets.Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with other sales teams (e.g., Enterprise, SMB) to ensure alignment and maximise opportunities.Work closely with Marketing to develop targeted campaigns and content for the mid-market.Partner with Product Management and Customer Success to ensure offerings meet mid-market needs and to drive customer adoption and retention.Market Insight & FeedbackStay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within the mid-market segment.Provide feedback and insights to Product Management, Marketing, and other teams to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).8-10 years of experience in sales or sales leadership, preferably within the mid-market segment or a similar B2B context.Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.Experience managing and developing a team of sales professionals.Strong understanding of the mid-market segment, its challenges, and opportunities.Skills And CompetenciesStrong leadership and people management skills.Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and manage complex sales cycles.Strategic thinking and planning abilities, with a focus on driving growth in the mid-market.Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to build strong, lasting relationships.Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels.Results-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.What’s next?Once you’ve applied online, our team will carefully review your application.
