The RoleThe RoleOverall responsibility for strategic planning and execution of the supply chain in market including demand planning, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, delivery and installation operations (including facilities management) to increase market share and deliver profitable growth in the short and long term.Delivers a world-class end to end supply chain experience in market for finished goods and spare parts, across retail, builder, and ecommerce channels aligned to F&P brand.Provides inspirational leadership, and direction to the supply chain operational team that increases product market share and profitable growth aligned to F&P’s global goal and strategic imperatives.You WillStrategic Planning & ExecutionResponsible for the planning and execution of supply chain’s end-to-end strategy in market, ensuring alignment with global supply chain strategy.Ensures the strategic plan is translated to their Team for the identification of executable actions that deliver to the strategy, resulting in increased market share and profitable growth.Ensures disciplined and effective execution of those plans, including identified priority changes and transformation activity.Promotes personal responsibility for tracking and reporting on the progress of the strategic plan’s implementation, through the use of People + Goal processes and tools, to drive delivery to plan.Provides quality, hands on leadership, creating a thoughtful vision of what success looks like to engage the people in the supply chain operation to deliver the right work that will strengthen supply chain’s performance.Ensures appropriate stakeholder management approaches are taken with supply chain to ensure highly effective cross-functional collaboration with global supporting functions.Provides regular reporting updates on supply chain’s end-to-end progress to the Executive Management and as well as across the local and global Market Group.Operations Deeply understands the supply chain end-to-end operation including demand planning, inventory management, warehouse, delivery/installation and reverse logistics and their environmental influences.Keeps current on changes and supply chain’s end-to-end best practice that influence supply chain’s operational strategic plans.Oversees local procurement & sourcing and IT strategy in partnership with global teamEstablishes and cultivates trusting partnerships with external providers to align and deliver an F&P branded customer experience service.Drives future real estate strategy.Manages and cultivates cross-business execution of product inventory and delivery into the market to leverage growth opportunities.Ensures all activities of the supply chain operation is performed in compliance with country, state, and federal regulations and, laws governing business.Operational LeadershipDrives Operational Excellence through a weekly cadence of operational and People + Goal forums, process and tools, adhering to the key principles of: clear accountability, forward focus, local leadership, global participation and efficiency.Effective, visible leadership that influences a culture of energy and enthusiasm. Role models F&P’s behaviours and demonstrates direct knowledge of functions within the Channel and their important role they plan connecting to supply chain operation’s strategy. Oversees and ensures effective financial management of the supply chain (planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting and audit) with a significant focus on driving revenue and margin growth and increased profitability.Partners with the Financial Controller in preparation and submission of annual operational budgets, managing effectively within this budget, and reporting accurately on progress made and challenges encountered.Leverages cross-functional strengths to take advantage of new opportunities and/or to address organisational challenges that either hinder or are needed to progress the performance and customer experience of the supply chain end-to-end operation.Operational Team LeadershipEnsures Operation’s adherence to maintaining global alignment of F&P’s Market organisational design by working with F&P’s central team when identifying a need for new roles.Coaches, develops, and retains high-performing leaders with an emphasis on developing capability in strategic areas of supply chain. Ensures deep understanding of F&P’s brand aspiration, vision and strategic direction.Takes responsibility for establishing and aligning a culture which demonstrates F&P’s brand values and step up behaviours.Leads recruitment, and development of leadership roles, ensuring the acquisition of talent has the critical capabilities needed to deliver to F&P’s growth plans.Sustains all people practises that underpin a high performing team.Partners with, and supports the development and implementation of leadership training programs with a focus on increasing leadership capability across the Market Group.Health & Safety (H&S)Has an understanding of health and safety management responsibilities relative to their position – role modelling leadership of H&SComplies with all legal requirements and Fisher & Paykel Health & Safety System standards.Accurately records and investigate incidentsEnsures all hazards are reported, recorded, risk-assessed and reasonably practicable controls are implementedEnsures inspections are planned and carried out to review hazard controlsEnsures all staff, contractors and visitors are managed to those standards by providing effective supervision and training.You HaveGlobal multi-national leadership including strategy creation and execution of supply chain end-to-end Operation.Proven leadership, with a track record, of successfully transforming and growing a supply chain operation (demand planning, inventory, warehouse and delivery/installation) that increased market share and profitability growth.Business leadership across functional areas of a global consumer organisation including budget and fiscal management experienceProven experience as a senior operational leader – encompassing supply chain, sales, warehousing, and customer service businesstory)Strong financial understanding and analytical skills. Ability to develop and apply the best commercial and financial solution for the right situation and environment.Demonstrated ability to develop the right internal culture to enable business growth. Brokers cross functional engagement that enhances their Channel and the overall enterprise, working effectively with Product Development, Supply Chain, IT, Marketing, Product Mangagement, Sales and Customer Experience functions.Expert understanding of the levers required to deliver profitable growth of the Supply Chain Operation and deliver a world-class end to end customer experience.
