Head of Operations

Rapidly expanding Global, Retail Broker are setting up a Frankfurt Office and are keen to hire a Head of Operations to contribute to gaining their regulatory permissions and establish a robust Operations function in this jurisdiction. Ideally the successful candidates will join the business on a temp/contract to permanent basis (going permanent once permissions are granted.) Reporting into the CEO duties will include:Working with Compliance to gain BaFin AuthorisationOperational Documentation and Design under MiFID IIClient Asset Custody & SegregationResponsible for set up of robust Client Safeguarding OperationsOperational Governance of Client OnboardingGovernance of Trading OperationsPost Trade Settlement and Custody GovernanceOperational Risk, Controls and Safety ManagementPost Authorisation Operations LeadershipWe are keen to hear from candidates with strong Operational Leadership Experience within a MiFID II regulated business. Knowledge of working with/making applications to BaFin is desirable.
