This role is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the origination team, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives, and maintaining close collaboration with the portfolio management and risk teams.What You’ll DoOversee the pipeline of new business opportunities across customers and productsGuide the structuring of tailored solutions, including PPAs, hedging, flexibility contracts, and optimization solutionsOversee and drive negotiations of large-scale, complex, and strategic transactionsBuild and maintain high-level relationships with key accounts, corporates, financial institutions, and strategic partnersRepresent the company as a thought leader and trusted advisor in energy markets, supporting clients’ energy transition needsWork closely with the portfolio teams to ensure origination activities are aligned with portfolio optimization, risk appetite, and regulatory frameworksPartner with legal, trading, operations, and finance teams to ensure successful deal execution and long-term value creationProvide market intelligence to senior leadership and contribute to broader corporate strategyOversee performance of existing contracts and counterparties, ensuring value delivery and proactive management Lead, develop, and mentor the origination team, setting clear objectives and ensuring delivery against strategic goalsDefine and implement the origination strategy in alignment with the company’s commercial visionWho You AreDegree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Business, or related disciplineExtensive experience in energy origination, trading, or structured products, with a strong track record of leadershipStrong external network within the European energy sectorDemonstrated success in closing and managing complex, large-scale transactions in European energy marketsStrong knowledge of power, flexibility, renewables, and environmental products, including PPAs and derivativesProven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and scale a high-performing teamExcellent commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work seamlessly across functions and influence at executive levelFluency in English and Swedish📍 LocationOur beautiful office is located in the heart of Södermalm just a short walk from Slussen subway station.
