B1 lit. b (postdoc) Limited until: 30.11.2028 Reference no.: 4827Your Personal Sphere Of PlayThe Faculty of Psychology at the University of Vienna comprises the Dean's Office, a Student Service Center (SSC), four departments, and the Outpatient Unit for Research, Teaching and Practice.We are looking to fill a Senior Scientist position as Head of the Outpatient Unit for Research Teaching and Practice (FLPA) at the Faculty of Psychology.The FLPA combines research, teaching, and practical application in the areas of psychological diagnostics as well as clinical-psychological and health-psychological prevention and intervention across the lifespan. The successful candidate will share responsibility for expanding the FLPA's activities in psychotherapeutic fields (in accordance with current legal provisions and regulations).Find out more about us: https://flpa-psy.univie.ac.atYour Future TasksAs Head of the Outpatient Unit for Research, Teaching and Practice, you will take on the following tasks:Organizing and managing the day-to-day operations of the outpatient unitParticipation in the expansion of psychotherapeutic services offered by the outpatient unit and in negotiations with health insurance companiesProviding professional supervision and support for existing areas/services of the FLPA (e.g., testing and counseling center)Involvement in the planning of specialized training and continuing education programsIf applicable, own psychotherapeutic services in the outpatient clinic in connection with practice-oriented teaching in the field of psychotherapyOptionally: conducting your own researchThis Is Part Of Your PersonalityDegree in PsychologyDoctorate/PhDTraining as a psychotherapist in an evidence-based method (preferably in behavioral therapy)Experience in psychotherapeutic practiceExperience in a management position, preferably in a psychotherapeutic practice, outpatient clinic/unit or a similar institutionThe Following Qualifications Are Also DesirableResearch experiencePsychotherapeutic supervisionWillingness to engage in teaching in the field of psychotherapy (especially practice-oriented teaching)What We OfferOption for permanent employment: After three years, there is the possibility of permanent employment (after positive evaluation).Research: Opportunity to get involved in research and establish your own research profile.Work-life balance: We offer you the opportunity to perform some of your work remotely (upon agreement).Good public transport connections: Your new workplace is easily accessible by public transport.
