Head of PaymentsWe are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to join our team as the Head of Payments.Act as a senior thought leader within the business development function, identifying opportunities for internal and external collaboration to support business growth and expand our presence within the Payments sector.Role OverviewAs the Head of Payments, you will play a key role in building and strengthening trusted strategic relationships with clients, with a primary focus on the Payments domain within the Financial Services Industry. This position requires a senior leader with extensive experience in Payments, capable of understanding client needs, shaping commercially viable solutions, and contributing to sustainable revenue growth.In this role, you will lead the Payments growth agenda by leveraging your industry expertise to develop and execute initiatives that enhance our clients’ competitiveness and support the expansion of our Payments offering.You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, responding to market demand, and supporting the development of solutions that align with client expectations and market trends.As the Head of Payments, you will contribute to shaping the future direction of our Payments capability, ensuring that our offerings remain relevant, competitive, and aligned with both client needs and business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a forward-thinking sales strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth within the Payments sector.Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across existing and prospective clients.Support the development of tailored Payments solutions that address client needs and evolving market requirements.Forge and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior stakeholders.Ensure long-term partnerships by delivering consistent value, insight, and commercially successful outcomes.Work closely with Client Account Leadership teams to expand account footprints and strengthen client engagement.Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics within the Payments landscape.Utilize market insight to inform sales strategy, solution positioning, and business development priorities.Champion Payments capabilities across the organization and support go-to-market activities.Collaborate with delivery and technology teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with client expectations.Oversee business development activities for key clients, supporting smooth transition from sales to delivery.Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement across Payments engagements.Lead, mentor, and support teams involved in Payments-related initiatives, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.Provide guidance and direction to account teams to support sales effectiveness and client success.QualificationsAt least 10 years of managerial and management experience, with a strong background in the Payments sector.Proven track record in managing productivity-driven operations, particularly in Payments.Exceptional organizational, leadership, and analytical skills.Effective communication skills across all levels of employees and management.Ability to manage multiple projects alongside daily responsibilities.Application ProcessIf you are motivated to contribute to the commercial growth of Payments capabilities within the Financial Services industry and play a key role in expanding client relationships and business opportunities, we encourage you to apply and to join the team at our Technology Company!
