With a strong commitment to sustainability, innovation, and meaningful impact, this organisation manages a diverse portfolio of investments, philanthropic initiatives, and ventures across multiple sectors.About the RoleThe Head of People is a standalone role responsible for developing and executing a people and culture strategy aligned with the FO’s commercial and climate impact goals. Reporting directly to the CEO and supporting a scaling team, this role will lead the people function across key areas such as investing, philanthropy, property, life operations and shared services.Success will be defined by fostering a high-performance culture where employees are motivated to contribute their best work and feel deeply connected to the positive impact their work supports. As a trusted advisor to the CEO, Principal, and Senior Leadership Team, you will provide strategic insights and hands-on support across all FO initiatives.Key Responsibilities will include:Talent Strategy & Acquisition: Lead the design and delivery of a world-class talent strategy to attract, recruit, and retain exceptional individuals who are leaders in their fields and passionate about driving meaningful impact.Remuneration and Reward: Own the annual end of year compensation review process.Organisational Design and Change Management: Partner with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive organisational design and development activities. Support effective change management during a period of growth and evolution.Culture & Engagement: Collaborate with the CEO to drive initiatives that foster a high-performance, trust-based and values-driven culture. Cultivate an environment where employees feel empowered, motivated, and passionate about the collective impact the organisation is making, and help employees connect their work to the broader mission.HR Operations: Build a strong HR operations platform across the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. Lead procurement of a HR information system. Develop processes, policies and procedures which enhance organisational effectiveness and ensure the business adheres to employment laws and workplace health & safety legislation.Training & Development: Design and implement performance development and training programs to enhance professional growth across all levels of the organisation. Foster a culture of continuous learning and curiosity. Drive systems which normalise feedback loops and encourages open communication.Diversity & Inclusion: Champion an inclusive culture where employees can bring their whole selves to work, ensuring the family office is a safe, welcoming environment that embraces and celebrates diverse talent.Key experience and attributes:To thrive in this role, you will be passionate about leading people strategies in a fast-paced environment and possess the following:Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in People or HR leadership roles, ideally with exposure to investment management, consulting, or impact/philanthropy. As this is a standalone role, you will need to confidently move between hands-on execution and strategic work.Impact alignment: Passion for leading impact-driven people businesses.Collaboration: Proven ability in creating alignment and harmonising the people function across diverse teams, using a collaborative and consultative approach.Style: High EQ with the ability to lead with humility, empathy, and low ego. Ability to build trust and relationships easily across all levels of the organisation.Adaptability: Comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment and taking a hands-on approach to building and executing a people strategy.
